Book your fuel useage reimbursement (GMR) trips faster and easier than ever! You can now schedule your GMR trips 24 hours a day, seven days per week using our self-service equipment. Just call 1-844-879-7341 to get going. Please note that if you are asking for GMR for the first time, you will need to talk to a representative. The reimbursement price is $0. 16 for each mile. We encourage you to have this flexible mode associated with transportation, which complies using social distancing recommendations. When GMR is your current authorized mode, your only additional option is public transportation, when it is available in your service region.
Efficient July 29, 2020, Nevada Medicaid will not cover the meals and accommodations benefit. This change can help ensure long-term sustainability from the non-emergency medical transportation advantage. MTM is still able to offer transportation to and from approved out-of-area Medicaid appointments. We will request you to receive the most economical and appropriate mode associated with transportation. This mode might include gas mileage reimbursement at $0. 16 per mile, Greyhound bus service, Amtrak train service, or a flight. You might be able to arrange free or even low-cost meals and accommodations at the Ronald McDonald Home. MTM’s Care Coordinators provides you with referral information, if offered.
